This year’s Win Win spotlights NIAD artists’ passion for sports—especially the drama and camaraderie of pro wrestling. Designed by and for artists, it’s sure to be an action-packed afternoon. Buy your sliding scale ($0 – $50) tickets today to join in on the fun, including:

At the heart of it all, we’ll premiere Championship Belt, a recurring exhibition at NIAD inspired by studio artists’ passion for sports–especially professional wrestling–and the bonds that are formed through teamwork in the ring, on the court, and in the studio.
The event also features an inclusive menu of food and refreshments: a taco bar by Richmond’s Tacos El Tucán; Sweets from SF’s Pepitos Paletas; and cocktails and mocktails by famed East Bay bartender Robin Biles
Win Win 13 will feature a special tribute honoring two NIAD Hall of Famers: artist Ann Meade, who has been practicing in the studio for 25 years, and Studio Support Specialist Terri Moore, who joined NIAD in 2012.

NIAD Art Center is a progressive art studio that promotes creative expression, independence, inclusion, and community integration for adult artists with disabilities. NIAD operates both a Virtual Studio and an in-person studio and exhibition space on 23rd Street, programmed by and with NIAD artists. NIAD’s vision is a supportive and inclusive community where art makes each individual and their story visible. Through its visual arts studio program, NIAD gives people with disabilities the skills and experience to express themselves, be independent and earn income as an artist. This nurturing community of artists fosters experimentation, increases competence to make informed choices and increases connections among diverse communities through the commonality of creative expression.
