This February, Salem Art Association presents QUEER LOVE, an exhibit that centers the work of 14 queer artists from Oregon and Washington, and declares that LOVE IS FOR EVERYONE.

QUEER LOVE is open from February 2-25 2024, with an opening reception Friday Feb 2 at 5:30-7:30. Closing Event Feb 25 4-5P. Located at Salem Art Association 600 Mission St SE, Salem OR 97302

Enjoy work that is varied in form from artists who are partners, lovers, collaborators, family and friends in this
collection that beautifully encompasses the spectrum of queer love in its enclosing, personal, romantic, friendly, caring, communal, sophisticated, banal, simple, pleasurable, individual, complex, complicated, faltering, distinguished, confident, divine, human, redemptive, healthy, holistic, carnal and happy examples. Experience the epitome of QUEER LOVE.

Closing Event Feb 25 4-5P. SELECTED WORKS Liz Asch will read from selected works on Sunday, February 25 from 4-5 p.m. in the Camas Gallery.  This one-hour reading event with Queer author/artist Liz Asch will draw from essays and poetry from recent works, including Your Salt on My Lips.
