The M. Rosetta Hunter gallery at Seattle Central presents Lush Computation, curated by Meghan Elizabeth Trainor. Artists Edgar Fabián Frías, Pepper Pepper, Juliet Fiss and THEYDRIFT present works rich in digital processes and aesthetics, bringing deeply personal and individual narratives subject matter to their work. While AI encroachment in the visual arts has grown as a necessary space of debate in the art world, these artists are firmly in charge of their deliberate use and non-use of technology, algorithms, and aesthetics . Their art exposes the lushness of their visions with decidedly computational expressions.
Opening reception Thursday, October 12, 4-7 pm.
