Farewell, Pea Green

Nick Vaaler is an artist, originally from St. Louis, Missouri, showing a solo exhibition of watercolor paintings in Los Angeles.

“Farewell, Pea Green” hopes to project the importance of color, quantity, and cohesion within Nick’s work, and is a sister show to his former “Two-Hundred Pink Paintings & One Pea Green” solo exhibition held in the same space a year prior. Focused on feelings of isolation and obsession, often binding oneself to mundane tasks, this show is meant to envelope you into a focused scene of Nick’s artistic research practice. It is also charged with marking the end of his time living in Los Angeles.

Opening at Tropico Beauty / Giraffe Studios on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 6-9pm.
