The Agnès Varda Forever Film Festival returns Thursday, March 6 – Sunday, March 9! From the artistic minds of Laura Glazer and JJ Jones, Clinton Street Theater is bringing a selection of her films back to the big screen.
They’ll have fun surprises for you this time around, but we also need your help.
In the spirit of Varda’s D.I.Y. filmmaking, they want you to send them your short film (5 minutes or less), made in the style of Varda’s works—think direct cinema, on location shooting, non-professional actors, documentary or deeply personal narrative. Don’t think too much about it, just go out there and make something real!
