METHOD is a non-profit, non-commercial, and volunteer-run exhibition space in Pioneer Square, fiscally sponsored by Shunpike. METHOD was founded in 2013 by a group of artists seeking to create space for innovative, site-specific installation work not seen in traditional gallery spaces. Over the last 11+ years, METHOD has shown work by over 100 artists and has had an average of 4,000 visitors per year. Over the last two years, we’ve expanded our programming beyond exhibitions and artist talks to include collaborative and interdisciplinary activations, and pop up events. METHOD’s aim is to create immersive experiences that push boundaries and expand the impact art can have.
