Companions
In a cross-city pollination, The Vestibule hosts eight artists from the collective, Well-Well Projects while six Vestibule artists travel to Portland to install an exhibition in their gallery for the month of November.
COMPANIONS is a complex group of work with symbiotic and surreptitious connections, both along surface subject matter and within its conceptual concerns. This show operates as a forest: work supporting work to create an environment of unique species that have come together in ways both interdependent and at-odds, layered and connected in their interpretation of our contemporary experience.
This exhibition displays the work of 8 of the 14 artists of Well Well Projects, a member-run gallery in Portland: John Whitten, Kelda Van Patten, Jessie Rose Vala, Katherine Spinella, Morgan Rosskopf, Alyson Provax, Jeremy Le Grand and Erik Geschke.
