3/2 refers to a stack of three and another stack of two small-scale scaffolds cast in glass, made while in residence at the Yucca Valley Material Lab in 2021. Lazy Eye Gallery, a 64 square foot exhibition space in a decommissioned water tower, suits both the verticality and non-functionality of the scaffolds. ⠀
This installation is a continuation of the Scaffold Series, which takes the scaffold beyond its functional purpose into an engagement with space and form. Works in this series invite viewers to experience the intersection of the utilitarian, historical, and aesthetic qualities of each site.⠀
