Ark Exhibition and Benefit Auction

September 16 - September 30

Free
The text "100 bay Area Artists. 100% of auction bids for local art orgs. September 16-30" centered against a faded collage, including multiple different styles of art, as well as more information about the event.

Born out of an unprecedented $1M commission by The Svane Family Foundation at the height of the pandemic in 2020, Ark is a direct expression of how 100 San Francisco Bay Area artists have endured the pandemic while sharing their visions of what to carry into the future. The resulting works, spanning Northern California’s most influential artists to the next generation emerging, will be exhibited at SFAI Fort Mason and go up for auction on Artsy, with 100% of auction proceeds going back to local artists through ArtSpan.

Ark is the first program in Svane Family Foundation’s commitment to celebrate the range, diversity, and brilliance of Bay Area artists.
