alexa vazquez (they/them) is a working photographer and all around creative in the Inland Empire. Their work consists of analog film photography capturing everyday scenes using cinematic influences. 

i don’t want to be funny anymore is alexa vazquez’s first printed collection of photographs made possible through Curious Publishing’s BIPOC + Queer Publishing Fund. An accumulation of analog film photographs by alexa, photos from family archives, WORDS, notes, and more. All capturing different themes of identity. Latinidad, gender queerness, nostalgia, loneliness, softness, vulnerability, self expression through tattoos, and simply existing.
